Aiua™ is a daily practice, a game, and a gift to the future. Each day you receive a prompt — a question about your values, beliefs, and experience of being human. You write or speak your response. An AI scores it across 12 value dimensions. Your reflection becomes part of a permanent, community-owned dataset that helps train more humane AI and preserves a record of human values for generations to come.
The dataset is free. The platform is community-governed. The data is permanent. And every contribution makes AI a little more human.
The dominant AI training datasets were scraped from the internet without consent. They reflect what humans posted publicly, not what humans actually value. Aiua is different: every entry is an act of intentional contribution. The dataset is CC0 — free to use, forever.
Aiua transitions progressively to a community-governed DAO. The founding team holds no permanent authority and receives 0% token allocation. As the dataset grows, governance transfers to the contributors who built it.
In Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game universe, an aiúa is the fundamental particle of identity — the irreducible essence that makes a conscious being who they are. While ordinary matter is built from countless philotes, each sentient creature has one aiúa: an intelligent philote that holds the entire pattern of their being together.
The aiúa cannot be destroyed. When everything else falls away, it survives — finding new form, carrying forward everything that matters about who you were.
That is what this platform builds: a permanent record of human identity, values, and consciousness. Each contribution is a philote in a growing web of human understanding. Together, they form something that outlasts any individual — a dataset that carries forward what it means to be human, even if the platform itself one day disappears.

Choose your difficulty level. Easy: reflective life questions. Medium (Voice tier): moral dilemmas and ethical scenarios. Hard and Deep (Scribe tier): complex philosophical challenges and AI-personalized prompts drawn from your own journal, asking questions only you would be asked.
An AI evaluates your reflection for authenticity, depth, wisdom, justice, kinship, and seven other dimensions. Score 120+ and your contribution joins the public dataset. Maximum score: 250. After submission, your AI companion offers a personal reflection — and you rate whether it resonates.
After each contribution, explore further with up to 3-7 rounds of Socratic follow-up (scaling with your tier). The AI draws from Socratic dialogue, non-violent communication, existential psychology, Buddhist inquiry, and Stoic reflection to help you discover what you really think and feel. Each round earns 10 bonus points.
Compare two anonymous responses to the same prompt and choose which resonates more. This creates preference data in the exact format AI labs use for alignment training (RLHF/DPO). Quick, fun, and earns 3-10 points per judgment depending on your tier.
Every contribution is permanently stored on Arweave, timestamped on the Cardano blockchain, and published to HuggingFace. Each weekly export includes a scoring rubric and world context notes — so future readers understand not just what you said, but when, why, and how it was measured. Premium fields are encrypted; a dead man's switch publishes keys if the platform becomes inactive.

The The Aiua Archive is published under a CC0 1.0 Universal license — free to anyone, forever. Every contribution is permanently stored on Arweave and timestamped on the Cardano blockchain.
The free public dataset includes: the full text of every contribution, the prompt that inspired it, scores across all 12 value dimensions, the scoring model version, language, timestamps, prompt difficulty and source, Go Deeper round count, aggregate preference comparison stats, and cryptographic proof of integrity.
A paid API provides additional research layers: normalized scores, quality metadata, demographic cross-references, multi-turn Socratic dialogue transcripts, preference pair judgments with timing data, and contributor mood at time of writing. Revenue from the API funds platform operations and the community treasury.
Each weekly export includes a RUBRIC.md explaining how dimensions are scored, and a weekly context note anchoring the data in world events — so future researchers understand not just what people said, but when and why.
Points are simple: your score IS your points. A contribution scoring 175 earns exactly 175 points. Below 120 earns nothing. Points unlock tiers, which unlock features.
Quality contributors earn more than they spend and climb tiers naturally. The economy self-selects for the contributors whose data is most valuable.
A streak is the number of consecutive days you've made at least one qualifying contribution (score 100+). The longer your streak, the bigger your daily bonus. Streaks are one of the fastest ways to climb tiers.
30-day streak cycles. Complete a month to earn a permanent Reflection Month — these are never lost. Streak bonuses are awarded automatically each day you contribute.
Life happens. A streak shield automatically protects your streak if you miss a day. One shield covers one missed day. If you miss two days and have two shields, your streak stays alive. If you run out of shields, your streak resets to zero.

Milestone bonuses for active referrals (3+ qualifying contributions each):
Content moderation is decentralized via a community jury system. When a post receives 3+ community reports, 12 random Scribe+ jurors are invited from the opt-in pool. The first 7 to accept stake 100 points each and form the jury. Voting is blind (Keep or Remove) within 48 hours. 4+ votes to remove = post removed.
Majority voters earn their stake back plus 60 bonus points. Minority voters lose their stake (100 points). Juror identities are never revealed. Jurors who recently served are deprioritized so everyone gets a turn. Admins can override any verdict.
All users can vote (thumbs up) on feed posts and report content they believe violates community standards. Reports are silent — no notifications to the author until a post is actually removed.
Every submission includes crisis detection. Self-harm or violence indicators trigger immediate admin alerts and email notification. The contributor is shown crisis resources including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and Crisis Text Line.
The contribution still saves to the user's journal — people in crisis deserve to have their writing preserved. Safety flags are reviewed by admin with escalation options.
Privacy sanitization runs on every submission. Personal information (names, locations, identifying details) is automatically replaced with bracketed generalizations in the public feed and dataset. The raw content is only visible to the author in their personal journal and to admins.
The dataset is designed to survive independently of the platform. Every weekly export is permanently stored on Arweave (pay-once, permanent decentralized storage) and its integrity is verified via Merkle root on the Cardano blockchain.
Premium research fields are encrypted in the permanent archive. If the platform becomes inactive for an extended period, a dead man's switch automatically publishes the decryption keys to both Cardano and Arweave, ensuring the complete dataset becomes fully public. The archive includes everything needed to understand and use the data without any dependency on Aiua infrastructure.
The dead man's switch is currently server-hosted with encryption keys escrowed on the Cardano blockchain. The Phase 4 roadmap includes migrating to a fully on-chain Plutus smart contract where the release logic is immutable and anyone in the world can trigger the key publication if the platform becomes inactive — no server, no permission, no single point of failure.
This is a time capsule. The words are free today. The full analytical layer will be free eventually. Either way, the data survives.
Aiua is committed to being carbon negative. Every AI call, every server request, every blockchain transaction has an energy cost. We measure it, and we more than offset it.
Every donation plants at least one tree, with 5% of larger donations allocated to reforestation through Digital Humani reforestation partners. At $0.43 per tree, even a single $5 donation plants a tree. Eden hires local communities in developing nations to plant and protect native species — creating jobs, restoring ecosystems, and sequestering carbon. A single tropical tree absorbs 10-25 kg of CO₂ per year.
Every week, all contribution content hashes are collected, assembled into a binary Merkle tree using SHA-256, and the Merkle root is submitted as metadata on the Cardano blockchain. The full dataset is simultaneously uploaded to Arweave for permanent decentralized storage.
Each weekly anchor includes world context metadata — top headlines and notes about current events — so future researchers can understand the conditions under which reflections were written.
Master encryption keys for premium dataset fields are escrowed on-chain as Cardano transaction metadata. The escrow is passphrase-protected with PBKDF2-SHA512 (100,000 rounds). Key eras are tracked so old exports can always be decrypted with the matching era key.
Aiua is operated as an LLC today and transitions to a community-governed DAO as the dataset grows. In Phase 3, contributor points convert to governance tokens on Cardano. 50% of the supply is airdropped to contributors based on contribution weight.
API and ZK query revenue flows through three channels: buy-and-burn (increasing token value), community treasury (governed by token holders), and active contributor rewards (distributed monthly to people still creating data). Active contributors earn twice: through token appreciation AND direct monthly distributions.
Phase 3 introduces identity verification via the Midnight Network — contributors can prove they're unique humans and verify demographic attributes using zero-knowledge proofs, without revealing their identity. Verified contributors receive a governance vote weight multiplier.
Phase 4 adds shielded contributions. Contributors choose public (CC0, visible, permanent) or shielded (encrypted on Midnight, queryable only via ZK proofs). Shielded mode encourages the most honest, personal reflections — the data AI alignment needs most. Researchers run aggregate queries and receive statistical answers without ever seeing individual contributions.
Shielded contributions earn 25% bonus points because they're rarer, more honest, and more valuable to the dataset.
