Welcome to Aiua™. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aiua platform ("Platform"). By creating an account or submitting a contribution, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Aiua is a guided daily self-reflection platform. Contributions are scored by AI across 12 human-values dimensions and released under CC0 1.0 Universal to form an open training dataset for AI alignment research.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at aiuaai@proton.me if you suspect unauthorized access. Account sharing is not permitted.
By submitting a contribution you represent that: the content is your own original writing or speech; you have the right to submit it; it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property; it does not include personal information about others without their consent; and it was written or spoken by you, a human, not generated by AI.
By submitting a contribution that scores 100/250 or higher, you irrevocably release that contribution under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. This means you waive all copyright and related rights worldwide. Anyone may copy, modify, distribute, and use your contribution for any purpose, including commercial purposes, without asking permission.
This release is irrevocable once the contribution has been published and exported to the dataset. You must understand and affirmatively agree to this before submitting. Contributions scoring below 100/250 are not published and remain private to your account.
Your username is not included in the public dataset. Contributions are identified by an anonymous UUID. You are solely responsible for any personal details you choose to include in your contribution text.

Violations will result in contribution removal and may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
Points are awarded for qualifying contributions, streaks, referrals, and governance participation. Points have no monetary value and are not redeemable for cash or equivalent.
Tiers are determined by accumulated points and unlock platform features. Tiers are not a property right and may be adjusted or revoked for violations of these Terms.
The governance token does not currently exist. Points accumulated on the platform do not guarantee any token allocation. If and when launched, the governance token will be a governance and utility token — it is not intended as an investment and is not a security. We make no promise of financial return.
Token launch is contingent on community governance decisions. Details are subject to change. Anthropic and the Cardano Foundation are not affiliated with or endorsing the governance token. Your participation should be motivated by belief in the mission, not financial gain.
The Aiua platform, branding, and non-CC0 content are owned by or licensed to Aiua. You may not reproduce or distribute platform content without permission.
As described in Section 5.2, published contributions are released under CC0. You retain no copyright over published contributions. Unpublished contributions (below 100/250) remain yours.
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Platform, you grant us the right to use that feedback without compensation or attribution.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at aiua.earth/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Donations to Aiua are voluntary and non-refundable. Donations fund platform operations and contributor compensation as documented publicly. A donation is not an investment and does not grant equity, governance rights, or any claim on future revenues or tokens.
We are progressively transferring platform governance to the community. Currently, governance is points-weighted and advisory. Governance decisions are advisory until a formal DAO structure is implemented in Phase 3. Aiua reserves the right to override governance decisions that violate applicable law or these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting aiuaai@proton.me. Personal data will be removed within 30 days, subject to blockchain immutability limitations described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Published contributions released under CC0 remain in the public dataset following termination.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. AI-generated content on the Platform (reflections, scoring feedback, Advisor responses) is not a substitute for professional mental health support. We make no warranty that the dataset will be adopted by researchers or that any governance token will launch or have any value.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aiua shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the prior 12 months or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aiua and its contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your contributions, or your violation of these Terms.
Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes to these Terms via email or platform notification before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
